A beautifully renovated hotel offers a cozy atmosphere, especially good during the holidays, with festive decorations and a complimentary holiday treat at check-in. Spacious rooms feature a comfortable layout and a lovely updated bathroom with a walk-in rainfall shower. While the breakfast is on the pricier side, it includes excellent options like Bircher Muesli, and staff are notably friendly and helpful. The location, though convenient, lacks picturesque surroundings.

The superior king room is bright and has a private safe, an air conditioning and a mini-bar. The breakfast is varied and extensive with a wide range of food.

Overall it was a very enjoyable stay in a clean, well maintained and well staffed hotel. The room was spacious & clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is certainly worthy of it's four stars. On the down side, the breakfast room staff do not seem to have been selected and trained with the same care as the receptionists and the dining room itself was very warm and stuffy.

Great location. Entrance/Lobby and bar area had nice decor. Superior room was spacious and comfortable with a jacuzzi tub. Even though on busy street, the windows kept out the noise.
The extra expense for breakfast

The situation in front of the rail station.
No parking for the car. No clim (amasing for the price). No free internet. No french TV. Very noisy even with a room at the back.

The hotel had an elegant atmosphere and a charming staff. Although the room was small and quite warm at night, the breakfast was a good highlight. A bit of trouble occurred during check-in regarding parking, which could be better managed. A pleasant experience in a timeless setting.

The hotel has an excellent position between the station and the old town. Everything is within walking distance. The staff are excellent. The room had a/c and was spotless. The bar is super. Everything was perfect
The dining room is a very interesting salle. The menu is intimidating. There should be local options like schnitzel, spatzle, pfferlinger etc. on a small fixed price menu. Also there should be a small bar menu like wurstel with brot/kart

Central location just next to the Railwaystation. Nice interior.
Smoking was allowed in the bar and that is nowdays quite unusual. When I wanted to have beer I had to sit in thick smoke. That was not so fun. Clothes smelled bad even in the morning. No free wlan.

The Hotel Halm Konstanz has old-world charm in the common areas of the hotel, and it is clear the property has been a gem through its history. Also just across the street from the Konstanz train station and another block is the marina walkway of restaurants and a biergarten. In the other direction, shopping, restaurants and historical buildings are around the corner in the village.
Internet connection is purchased separately. Also seems that some rooms might not have full service utilities-- for example my room had a plug-in floor fan and if there was a thermostat for the room I couldn't find it (I think there wasn't one).

The room was cozy and impeccably clean, and the staff went out of their way to. Don't miss the breakfast. The selection is fantastic!

We had an amazing stay with a amazing view of the lake and a cozy atmosphere. The breakfast spread was unbelievable—it spoiled us! The room, however, was slightly dated compared to the pictures.

The hotel is centrally located in the centre of Konstanz opposite the train station. It is a beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and a relaxing atmosphere. It was exceptionally clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel highly.
There was no gym or swimming pool.

Very nice room and handy for exploring Konstanz and the Bodensee
We had apparently booked without breakfast which was a suprise given the price and it would have been 18 euros each per day for breakfast which was quite steep.
